At the After School Program our goal is to aide children ages 6-15 in the development of their character through educational and recreational activities. The program provides a fun and supportive place for youth to gain social skills, create lasting friendships and receive the skills necessary to succeed in the future.

Daily Activities Include:
- A healthy snack
- Academic curriculum
- Homework help
- Cooperative Game time
- Special projects
- Computer lab time
What can you do?
At the After School Program we need help with the following:
- General assistance with overall operation of the daily activities
- Positive Adult Role Models and Mentors
- One-on-One homework help including working with students on remedial math and reading skills
- Overseeing and implementing games and/or activities for gym time
- Presenting a craft or specific skill set to the kids in a special activity
- Preparing healthy snacks
- Providing assistance in the computer lab
- Present information to the youth about your job
- Implementing academic curriculum
No matter what your skill level or area of interest there is a place for you to help at the After School Program.

St. Johns United Center located on the corner of Mechanic and Morrell.

When is the After School Program?
The Program is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Set days vary based on semester. The program runs concordant with the school year.
